Anybody hunt on the Allatoona Lake Corp property? Getting my permit this year and I have never hunted their. Any info. on what part and what to expect would be great.

I'm sitting on my boat right now and wish someone would come shoot some of the geese and ducks that are hanging around.
I've never hunted on corp property but have heard it can get crowded in some areas. Be careful.

This one is only 400 permits allowed and bow only so I hope it will not be so bad.
Allatoona sucks in my opinion. Hunted there for 4 years and no luck. Have seen 6 deer in 4 years total.
You can hunt along Allatoona Creek primarily, out Mars Hill. They have a map that marks all of the areas, or they did last time I hunted Corp land. Of course the areas I see all the really really really nice bucks are off limits

It is the Allatoona Lake Corp of Engineers property.
They do 400 permits and the Cobb one does 300
I wouldn't mind knowing where you saw those geese and ducks. Would you pm the location?
