I had such a bad experience during alligator mating season that I'm going to sit-out all other seasons, including hunting season.

They are powerful creatures as well. Very explosive. I had a 10-11 footer on in 2014 and it jumped like a stinking Tarpon.
It looks like Redneck1 is doing well so far this season.

Three of my friends are heading down for a DIY hunt next week. They are camping just a little ways down from Redneck1.

Personal satisfaction mostly,expensive to get one tanned and to have one mounted is off the charts,I get the meat and skull,Redneck takes the hide after transfer and I usually end up with a belt.Thing about getting a 12 footer is its the trophy of a lifetime.
