Alligator turtles eating my ducks!

Anybody around Jasper Georgia catch turtles? Ive got some big ones that are wiping out the ducks and geese in my lake.

If you have the time, an patience, get a folding chair, find a good spot, wait him out, when he sticks his nose up for air, blast away with a shotgun loaded with turkey loads, and a full choke. They can stay underwater for very long periods of time. Or do like my dad, brother, and I, and all three shoot, when he surfaces!

If I remember correctly, we didn't have much luck using treble hooks, they always nibbled off the bait.

I just figured one of you guys might want some turtle meat. I just set some double 8s on steel leaders on chicken breast

When I was a kid the farmer down the road let us shoot all the turtles we wanted in his pond . We would shoot them for hours . Just use a 22 and pull headshots
