Exactly - last new gun I bought even came with a round it had fired. In a nice little envelope.

Yep. Glocks come with 1 or 2 spent cases in a little envelope that has the test-fire date written on it along with the name of the person that did the testing.

And if you're going to say something like this CLEAN THE GUN before we meet! Yikes! I actually had one of those deals: "Never been fired". One pinky finger in the chamber and the price dropped precipitously.
