alternative hobbies

Good question... I can assure you that whatever it ended up being wouldn't fit neatly into a safe. My workshop grew out of it's space very quickly. But I do build a lot of stuff. Lately all that stuff has been getting nailed onto the house. I prefer to build fun things- such as humidors and the like. Haven't gotten to play with that kind of woodworking much this year.

I'd probably get into woodworking. After all, I spend plenty of time messing around with mine as it is. :heh:

Computers are already my other inordinately expensive hobby, so there's that.

My sailboat needs a new main m3206.jpg sail....$2000.

I'm also a member over at EDCForums.com. So I guess I would say my other hobby is collecting stuff. I like guns of course, but I am also into knives, multitools, backpacking, hiking, camping, and kayaking. So if guns were out of the equation I would probably spend a lot more time outdoors. Maybe start planning a hiking trip up the Appalachian trail. I've been wanting to do that for years. Or maybe a kayaking trip through the Okefenokee. My Dad and I used to canoe from Waycross down to Fargo every summer, some of my best childhood memories were made down there. I can't wait for my son to be big enough for one of those trips. Maybe this spring I will get to do one of those two.

No guns huh? hmmm...

Well in the past two months I have picked up stamp collecting..
