Am I old or is this expensive?

I have not shot at a range in several years. Yesterday I stopped at a new place just to get an idea of what they had. They have an 18 yard range and charge $25 per hour per person. I said I wanted to bring my wife to shoot with me on the same range and was told it would be $50 an hour. I think that's way high what do you guys think and what is the average going rate around you.
You are old.

AND ... That is expensive.

There, I've answered your questions to the best of my abilities.

Did the guy have a hump on his shoulder?

What do you think a reasonable rate (per person per hour) should be for a nice indoor range?

Using the same lane should not be double the price IMO. There should be some kind of break I would think.
If it is the same price then they can just get two lanes next to each other and shoot at the same time , you wouldn’t have to wait while the other person shoots.
Just my opinion.

Agreed. I got to where I loaded all my mags up before I left the house to start with. Cuts way down on time. But at these prices, I wouldn't want to go. That's just the tip of the iceberg. Ammo is expensive too
