Am I old or is this expensive?

Another idea is to get you a job at the store. They'd probably let you shoot for free on your off time. And get deals on ammo and other guns as well. A good way to feed an expensive hobby. I never brought money home, but I rarely pulled money out of pocket either

Agreed. I got to where I loaded all my mags up before I left the house to start with. Cuts way down on time. But at these prices, I wouldn't want to go. That's just the tip of the iceberg. Ammo is expensive too
I can agree with that one !
I have hand loaded for most all my life. My father taught me when I was young. Cast also.
But components have gotten expensive as well. Everything is going up that has to do with firearms. Or anything else for that matter.

Yep

The DNR is planning on changing fees for using their ranges. They're sending out surveys right now to find out who will pay $100 to $140 a year or $10 to $30 a day to shoot. Right now it's covered under your hunting or fishing license.
Right now If you are over 65 DNR ranges are free. Wait until all the "seniors" get those surveys. :mad2:

I miss the days of being able to go a mile or two down the road and just shoot in the creek.
Whenever we done any kind of work around the house we would save the scrap wood and cut it up in little blocks and use those for targets. That way you didn’t have any trash.
Hell do like everybody else does ride around 285
