I don't know what a fair price is but I wouldn't go to an indoor open-to-the-public range anymore if you paid me. Finding a good outdoor gun club might be worth it, even if there was some driving to get there.

Last time I went to an indoor range it was 5 dollars an hour. What do you think a reasonable rate (per person per hour) should be for a nice indoor range?
LOL! Bro, you may have missed your calling. You should be writing fortune cookies or greeting cards !Personally, I think we’re all old and everything is expensive!

At least she didn't get hurt......
Certainly there is some of that. But if you take what it cost then to what the dollars are worth now, it is off the charts in cost nowPersonally, I think we’re all old and everything is expensive!
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources (GA-DNR) provides grants for shooting range development through the Wildlife Restoration Program. These grants are funded by federal excise taxes on firearms, ammunition, and archery equipment. Bill Clinton started to raid this multi money fund when he was president and he was stopped somehow. I can't remember all the particulars on it but I do know that every bullet and every firearm you buy has built in federal taxes on it to support gun ranges, yet they want to sneak another friggin' in on us.The DNR is planning on changing fees for using their ranges. They're sending out surveys right now to find out who will pay $100 to $140 a year or $10 to $30 a day to shoot. Right now it's covered under your hunting or fishing license.
