I have a 2, multiple 3's, 4's, and a 5. It's the same gun just different personalities. I like them all. Honestly one of my favorites is the 42 I just sold my mother in law. I should never have sold it. Everything was perfect. But she shot it perfect, and this will be her first firearm. Gotta spread the love I guess.

Maybe it's because of my girly hands, but I like the Gen4 with no backstrap, seems to fit me better. I also prefer the grip texture and mag release.

I prefer the gen 4 due to the interchangeable backstraps and dual recoil spring assembly. I don't think id like the gen 5 b/c of the lack of finger grooves.

gen 3 for me, but I'm also still very pleased with my IPhone 5

All of my Glocks are Gen3's with the exception of my 42 and 43 I see no need to upgrade. The only Gen4 I ever shot had a extended tungsten rod installed and was using a flat wire spring. So if there is any advantage to the dual recoil spring I have never experienced it.
