I just went to Amazon and noticed that instead of free shipping for orders over $25, they have bumped it up to $35 for free shipping. So sad.... :pout:

LOL...Yep. I was thinking about getting another Glock 78 or 81 field knife. Amazon ends up being right at $35 either way($35 with free shipping or $3o PLUS shipping = $35). MidwayUSA has them for $27.99 and the shipping estimator says free shipping. Guess who I'm ordering from...

I still love Amazon.

We have 3 Kindles in the house and a Prime membership. Prime pays for itself year after year. We shop more online than we do stores.

Also, you used to be able count on them having the lowest prices.. not anymore....

Check around.... They are starting to rip you off....

Rip off might be a bit strong, but they're definitely not the cheapest all the time. They are convenient as heck and their customer service is great though.

As for their prices, they change a lot. You can track prices on this site and it will alert you when a price drops to a certain point. It's pretty awesome:

We have prime, and that is the best money spent each year. Not everything on Amazon is cheaper than other places, which is why I don't buy everything from Amazon.

They do have great customer service and a great return policy.

Sometimes their prices are higher because it isn't coming from Amazon, but rather a 3rd party and then you don't get the benefits of prime membership.

Prime is the greatest. I spend more money with Amazon because of it than I do any other store except Publix. Now if only they'd delivery groceries...

I have to agree with the above comments about Prime Membership. It's been the best money spent for my house. There are so many times that I have to get something quickly but don't have time to run to the store & I just place the order online instead & it's there within 48 hours. I don't use the instant video very much because I prefer Netflix but I'm sure I'll end up using it one day out and about traveling or something. :)
