ammo cap and hogs

so i was looking at the regs for hunting this year. they say we have no ammo cap in Ga for hogs deer and such.
3 rounds in a shotty for birds,but nothing on big game.
so
one of the AR 12's with a 20 round drum full of buckshot is legal for hogs?
asking for a friend,they may or may not have a bunch of hogs i can go all

on....
