The ammo hoarders think they can spend panic priced ammo for firearms that are "For Sale Only".
I bought plenty back in 2008 which had doubled in price just prior to the SHF in 2012.

The best you should hope for is a "Pre Sandy Hook Fiasco" price, which would be about half of the panic price.
After all it's not cash, it's just excess ammo.
As for me, if I'm gonna trade for ammo, it'll be 2008 prices.

Some folks just bought stock at the wrong time.

Eley is everywhere in stock. It's so high priced that even the online stores have trouble getting rid of it. Every local shop and big box store has stacks of Eley on the shelf and people just walk on by it. The day will never come when I feel a need to buy 22 LR anything for $8.49 for 50 rounds of ammo that goes bang the same way the .05 Remington or Winchester does.
