Thank you for posting. With the high cost of shipping containers and import fees, imported ammo has not been able to put downward pressure on domestic prices. The purchase of Remington by Vista was seen by many as the beginning of the end to ammo shortages. In reality it further consolidated the control of ammo production and pricing with Vista.:(

Their making out like bandits despite raw material increases and with so few manufacturers why run the risk of tooling up and not making bank in a few years.

Bottom line; "pay up suckers"

Ammo schmammo blah blah blah! What is truly disgusting and scary as F****** S*** is knowing that practices such as this have been slowly implemented over decades across many industries. Now, compound this with the Chinese flu policies strengthening large corporations and destroying small businesses, viola!!! Monopolized corporate domination of the earth! We are just getting the tip right now.. full insertion is right around the corner!

For the vast majority of gun owners that shoot less than 500 rounds per year, ammo pricing doesn’t affect them greatly. If you shoot more than that it will be necessary to load yourself. When primers return to their normal inflated price of
5 or 6 cents large quantity shooters will not be crushed by the pricing. Bulk bullets seem to be not highly inflated and same with powder. The sky is not falling for shooters. I think it is more in line with other prices. Inflation is real. Taxes and regulations cost money to the purchasers. It’s the way of the Democratic Party.
