Holy crap! The last year I hunted down there, we lease land near Hog Crawl Creek for $10/acre and that made us cringe a little.

Just get used to it is all I can tell you. If you wanna play, you gotta pay! We’re as hunter numbers aren’t increasing, prime hunting acres continue to decrease.

Have a friend paying $20 an acre for 600 acres. Logging company came through in December and clear cut about 200 acres. They are in negotiations about a new price.
