fI had a teacher, before the education system became so liberal, who was looking out the window of our cflass room with tears running down her face. I asked her what was wrong and she pointed to the clover planted beside the four lane that ran by our school as it waved in the wind and just said, "Amber waves of grain". I grow up on Navy bases and it was ALWAYS played before a movie or any ball game and we always were standing with our hand over our heart. I love the song. Imagine what this country would be like if it was always played before any movie, school event, ballgame, etc., etc. And people were expected to show respect during the song. Honestly, I think there would be a lot less leftist BS (no offense Dunkel ). And NO, I don't want to EVER hear a spanish version of the national anthem!
