I had a Russian SVT Blow up on me once, bolt went flying past my head by inches..I can imagine a 50..Had a LAW once in Nam shoot out the tube and drop 20 feet in front of us, we dropped the tube and ran like MF's. Delayed big boom, but you could feel the heat on our behinds..All weapons can be dangerous no matter how much caution you use.. But Like a moth to a flame, I do love to shoot

Thanks for helping me to finally decide that the TruthaboutGuns guy is a true arm chair quarterback chump. Nice of the arrogant jerk to choose this as an opportunity to criticize the response to that mess. Most people who shoot ragged holes at the range miss from 5 feet when facing live gunfire. It's called shock, like when a gun explodes in your face on a beautiful sunny day. I guess we should all train for that scenario, especially the extreme pain part.
