Don't knock the pit mix. We just lost our big guy in November but he was the most gentle giant you'd ever meet.

Pet stores are a rip off and the dogs come out of puppy mills. Look around for a reputable breeder.

STAY AWAY FROM THE PET STORES!!!!!!

Very poor quality, no proper care as puppies and way over priced. Typically the worst genetic examples of dogs we deal with come from pet stores.

Go to the Atlanta Humane Society or get one from a reputable breeder.

Just looked at Rome/Floyd County animal control and you are right. Almost every single dog. Dang, what's going on up there?
