Not sure why SIG is on the hate list. Not many brands of guns I actively hate. Interesting that SIG has put out some of the most innovative designs in the last couple years making all the others scramble to catch up and even Taurus is putting a dent in Glock sales.

I do understand that seeing a cheap part could lead people to believe a build sux. Perhaps the word frugal can't apply to firearms. I occasionally pick up cloths 75% off at Dillards during clearance events rather than pay $50 for shirts that probably cost $1 to make.

Not hate, Sig just has yet to put out anything that interests me. One day maybe. I have nothing against them.

Me too. I can’t wait. That CR6700A4 they released a few weeks ago is an embarrassment. Awesome gun, but putting a shared lower that is marked “carbine “ on a 20” rifle is an abomination.


Glad I picked up one of the AR15-A4 marked rifles before they made the change.
 
Colt is the "Gold Standard" for AR/M4 platform. My first AR/M4 Carbine was a Colt, and Colt will always have a special place in my heart. I've been dying to get a LWRC, but haven't pulled the trigger on one.
