I have heard of a lot of people having a bad experience at adventure outdoors but every time I purchased a gun from them it wasn't that bad until yesterday.
I wanted to buy a gun safe and a new gun to go in it but I heard they were out of stock of the one I wanted early on in the safe sale so before I went to another store to buy another one a week later I figured I would call to see if they got more in and sure enough I was told they had a couple left so I said I would be right out and they would hold one for me since I was driving from so far away.
once I got there I went looking for the gun I was going to get to get the paperwork going then I was going to get the safe but when I asked the sales person if they had any I was told no and then he just walked off then I found four of the exact gun I asked about.
I asked another person if they had any to sell since they had four in the display case and he said yeah but at that point I just wanted to get the safe and get out. I went up front and asked for some help buying a safe and a lady walks up and immediately tells me they have been sold out of the one I wanted since the sale started and I was basically s.o.l. then when I asked to speak to a manager she got mad and asked why. again I said I would just like to speak to a manager and was told "they aint going to do nothing for you".
Shocked I said can I please just talk to a manager then she says well I am a manager. looking mangy like there was no policy on personal hygiene or appearance I doubted she was the manager so I asked for a higher manager then she said well the owners daughter-inlaw is over there if you want to talk to her but she aint going to do anything to help you. After explaining my terrible experience and how rude I was treated I was offered a discount on range time and was given the usual sorry but that was it.
I went in that store to spend a 1000-1200 which is not chump to me and I feel like someone that wants to give you that much money in one purchase not to mention the several other guns I have purchased in the past that you would treat that individual with some kind of appreciation. I went elsewhere and spent a little over 1100 and was treated with respect and my money was appreciated. adventure outdoors would have to be basically giving guns away to get a penny from me again.
