I have heard of a lot of people having a bad experience at adventure outdoors but every time I purchased a gun from them it wasn't that bad until yesterday.

I wanted to buy a gun safe and a new gun to go in it but I heard they were out of stock of the one I wanted early on in the safe sale so before I went to another store to buy another one a week later I figured I would call to see if they got more in and sure enough I was told they had a couple left so I said I would be right out and they would hold one for me since I was driving from so far away.

once I got there I went looking for the gun I was going to get to get the paperwork going then I was going to get the safe but when I asked the sales person if they had any I was told no and then he just walked off then I found four of the exact gun I asked about.

I asked another person if they had any to sell since they had four in the display case and he said yeah but at that point I just wanted to get the safe and get out. I went up front and asked for some help buying a safe and a lady walks up and immediately tells me they have been sold out of the one I wanted since the sale started and I was basically s.o.l. then when I asked to speak to a manager she got mad and asked why. again I said I would just like to speak to a manager and was told "they aint going to do nothing for you".

Shocked I said can I please just talk to a manager then she says well I am a manager. looking mangy like there was no policy on personal hygiene or appearance I doubted she was the manager so I asked for a higher manager then she said well the owners daughter-inlaw is over there if you want to talk to her but she aint going to do anything to help you. After explaining my terrible experience and how rude I was treated I was offered a discount on range time and was given the usual sorry but that was it.

I went in that store to spend a 1000-1200 which is not chump to me and I feel like someone that wants to give you that much money in one purchase not to mention the several other guns I have purchased in the past that you would treat that individual with some kind of appreciation. I went elsewhere and spent a little over 1100 and was treated with respect and my money was appreciated. adventure outdoors would have to be basically giving guns away to get a penny from me again.

it amazes me that anyone on here would still want to go there after all of the bad reviews that are posted here...........

i'm not surprised by any means with what happened to you. they suck and don't give a **** about their customers.

I saw there orange Ford f 150 raptor going up 441 in Cornelia this afternoon. Just laughed and kept on driving. I only went in there one time. It's also the Last time I'd ever stop foot in there. Just horrible customer service. I bought a gun . It took 2 and a half hours from the time I said I want this one to the time I walked out the door. Just ridiculous

I dropped off my Colt Commander for a tune up with their gunsmith. He put the series 80 firing pins in wrong and the gun would not fire. You would think they would check for function before they gave it back. Byte Stryke fixed it for me.

Holy wall of text. Is there a short version somewhere? Cliff notes?

It would be a little easier to read if there were capital letters and a period or comma in there somewhere. The only thing AO has going for it is the fact that they have a ton of different items. I go in there to browse and see what I want next. After that's done I come here to buy it.
