Another Holster Question

My usual method of carrying my Sig P938 is in a DeSantis pocket holster, as shown below. It's comfortable, conceals well, and is easily accessible from most clothing. The one glitch in accessibility is when I'm wearing jeans (tighter pockets). Sometimes I feel as if it would be better worn on the belt. Would be interested in hearing comments from any of you guys who have carried the Sig P938 in some manner other than pocket carry. Especially interested in comments on make and model of holster used and whether it was IWB or OWB.

EDIT: Comments don't necessarily have to be limited to the Sig. I'm sure experiences with similar sized guns would also apply.

I have been carrying my 45 auto in a smartcarry for more than a dozen years. I may not be the fastest on the draw, I haven’t had to draw a weapon on duty or off. It’ Pretty comfortable and super low key.

If there is going to be some shooting, I have a 6+1 in the chamber 45acp and a spare 7 round mag. My subcompact 45 is similar in size to your P238

Try a good quality Appendix Kydex Holster...
I can almost guarantee you it will be more comfortable than that smartcarry holster.

Worked equally well in appendix or 4 o'clock hip position. It was my mainstay.
Other than that, I used Cook's kydex holster made in Bethlehem, GA, and they're great too.

So you have never actually tried one but you can with certainty guarantee it will be uncomfortable.

I just ordered a Clinger Comfort Holster. It is essentially a pocket holster similar to my current DeSantis and the Sticky Holster you mentioned. According to the reviews, it is even stickier than the Sticky Holster so it can be worn for IWB or pocket carry. The price of $19 certainly makes it worth the gamble.

Get a rigid holster with adjustable retention if you are going to put it IWB, kydex or hybrid. Trying doing a one handed reload with those floppy grippy holsters and you'll see why.
