Another reason to avoid HOA

If you do not have enough government in your life, just move into an HOA owned development.

YOU get to pay all taxes and maintenance, but YOU do not own anything. All use must be approved by the "committee", and they can fine you at their whim, including attaching liens to the deed you think you own.

But the great thing about living within a HOA the neighbors can’t put up a chicken coop,and park an Airstream Trailer, that had a 100 ft oak tree fall thru the center of it, then try to sell it on the ODT....

As the car heats up the snow melts from the heat generated and melts the snow..

So what happened to the rest of the snow that was on the grass and parking lot?

Gotta admit that I would never live in a close-in neighborhood WITHOUT a strong HOA, but that does seem a bridge too far... Trying to charge them $100 for melted snow is pretty ridiculous.

So what happened to the rest of the snow that was on the grass and parking lot?

Looks like a oil stain.

To those that haven’t grown up in it.. it simple, you out start your car for 10 minutes so the car warms up and you don’t drive a cold car.. that give time to create radiant heat from the engine and exhaust on the blacktop. It appears since there was no foot prints near the car, or car tracks backing out. The snow started after they left..

Snow usually doesn’t stick to the grass at first, unless it’s super cold. It keeps some warmth in compared to a parking lot..

Could it be oil to that helped maintain the warmth and created that shape, sure...
