Mine are my pets.
The clean up crew….
We had over 50 species of birds visit our feeders at the old Lawrenceville house.
Starting over with a whole new rotation.
So far, it’s herons, egrets, and ospreys.
Plus the gulls and all those little shore birds we’ve got to learn.
And, on an amphibian note, a lagoon full of turtles.

This was a few weeks ago when they were building the nest. right outside the family room window.
I think we are going to see the new fledglings any day now. They been gobbling up all my mealworms.
What really baffles me beyond believe is the rate speed the hummingbird can accelerate and change direction. If a human was to do that it would break their neck. Lightning quick maneuvering. It amazing to think with all of our technology we still can't outdo nature and gods creations.

We have three “Swallows” that decided to make their night hotel in our porch. First they came as a couple, had their nest there and now they discovered is much better than some place else.
So, every night I check on them….

They sure don't take up much realestate.
