Anything special or valuable here?

I got these a long time ago from a family member who had some some travels around the world.

I appreciate your expertise! I'm clueless. Tried punching some of it into Google, but the values were all over the place for the ones I tried. Thanks!

I use this site to identify my foreign coins and see if I can cross reference them on the PCGS web site. I don't see anything there that struck me as special. Condition is probably more critical for foreign coins being sold here. I see many are post WWII. Most dealers don't mess with foreign coins, and will sell them very cheap. I have found some very nice foreign coins and I collect WWI, Weimar, Notgeld and Third Reich coins. Hard to find high quality coins, when you do they can be pricey. when it comes to foreign coins, I'll sit down and go through what the dealer has to offer. I buy the ones that catch my eye with condition to match. Looks like you have few silver pieces in there but you will probably just get melt price for those.

That 1943 steel war cent looks nice, but I didn't see the reverse.

I have a small safe of coins my dad found while doing upholstery work his whole life. No clue what to do with it. Nothing in it appears “extraordinary” to me.

Not much market for foreign coins. Mostly they are kept for momentos of peoples trips. Not much appreciation once those people pass on. I started collecting when I was 8 and people gave me a bunch of foreign coins their dads brought back from WWII. The Nazi coins can’t even be sold of EBay anymore if Im correct.

Gotcha thanks. I primarily thought that maybe something may have been made of precious metal, like an old American silver dollar/half dollar. I have no clue how to tell that, but thanks for the input.

Cool, thanks! Which silver coins should I look at as far as melt price? That's where I was guessing any value might be, but am certainly no metallurgist!

Nothing really special, dealers tend to sell them by the pound, I have almost 10 pound of mixed stuff I’ll be listing on here myself shortly. Personally I think the older pre euro coins are much prettier than most of the modern stuff.
