I’m trying to identify what type of electric brakes my trailer has.
It’s a 70’s model camper I converted into a log hauling trailer.
I need to get the brakes replaced with all new parts, wiring, etc.
Just not sure how to identify what I have.
I’ll try to get some pics soon but not sure what to look for.

For trailers, there aren't many different types. Just take a drum and actuator, and a set of shoes to NAPA, they should be able to fix you up.

Unless the magnet is worn slap out, you should be able to get them working.

They have a very narrow range of "adjustment", like you use them 10 times, and you crawl under and adjust them again.

Not to many variations, as stated, NAPA, O'Reilly, Bumper to Bumper, should be able to match u up.
Then on Reassembly, make sure the backing plate is CLEAN & as rust free as possible.
Use white Lithium grease on the contact points.
Brake Clean is your FRIEND!!!

Honestly you will be better off just replacing the entire system. A set of new brakes can be had on etrailer for like 200$. You just pull the entire thing off and put the new one on then wire in. All you need to know is the mounting flange spacing and drum size.

I agree with Jeep.

I had a Pace trailer hooked to a F-350 truck. The truck had the electric current going back to the trailer (10,000 lbs with a car inside). It all worked effortlessly:
