Any interest in an ODT scuba diving class?

Never would have guessed you were a diver Nonliberal.

With that said, I think we need to hit up a trip down to Pensacola. I haven't got to dive the USS Oriskany yet. We can stop by Ginnie springs on the way down and hit up a little cavern dive.

If this is the same Mark im thinking of, he is good people and a good instructor.

It probably is the same mark. I haven't dove the Oriskany either, probably won't have time for that this summer.

I'd love to hit the Oriskany too, my to boys would love to as well, but they will need lots of training and dives under their belts before I'm comfortable.

My wife's uncle was the captain of the USS Oriskany during 1969 in Viet Nam, he passed away several years ago, before they sank his ship. He was a Naval aviator during WW2 and Korea, and was too old to fly in '69. Two of his 3 boys went to Annapolis, one to West Point (the black sheep). My father-in-law was also Navy from 1940 to 1945 and served on the USS Yorktown (CV-5) before the war started.
