Brake lights work fine until you turn the running lights on and then only the brake light works at the top of rear door.
Turn the lights off and all brake lights work.
Any ideas?

I had an 02 liberty. Any time I had issues with brake lights. I would first clean the contacts on the bulbs. Yeah I know its stupid and a pita. But try it.

Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler electrics are crap. Every time I see a Charger my first thought is ‘That’s cool’. Then I remember how jacked up the electrical is. Never again

Thanks for the reply’s
It ended up being the circuit board in the tail light assembly
I replaced both tail light assemblies and everything works like it should now
Couldn’t find anything wrong with the wiring
