Got a stray cat that has taken up residence on our back deck. Cat was so run down and scrawny that wife started to feed it and now it won't go away. Posted on a couple of local web sites to see if owner could be found, but no luck. My wife is negative to Cherokee County Animal Shelter as they euthanize about 30% of strays. Need help getting this thing out of my life (cat not wife), too many other problems at this time. Any advise that can preserve our 60+ years of marriage ?

Had a little cat show up at my house in 2012 , just barely above a kitten. We started to feed him and he stayed for 11 years then ran off 2 years ago because of a giant Halloween clown we put on the front porch scared him. Keep hoping he'll come home but I think the coyotes might have gotten him
