Any of you rednecks like to cook?

Back in 2010 I got a couple BGEs and cooked something every day. After youngest kid left for college I stopped since just me and the wife. Im going to start back next month. This eating out all the time is getting old.

Making two big pots of Chili right now for family get together. As a teenager I worked as a cook in a couple of restaurants.

I usually do the cooking when we're camping. You can cook just about anything in or on a good piece of cast iron over an open fire.

These two guys have some great "campfire" cooking videos; usually involving cast iron or just a hot rock.

You lost me at "cabbage"

That’s the funny thing about cabbage. If it is done wrong people will always hate it. But when it’s done right people that thought they hated it will always want more.

Then again cabbage love probably comes from the Polish in me.

Step dad was half polish half Irish. We ate a LOT of cabbage growing up. Nothing better than corned beef and cabbage.
