1. You can't ride Uber or Lyft across Atlanta for $2.50.

2. Uber and Lyft drivers get stuck in the same traffic I would if I were driving.

The best deal for me is the GRTA buses that run from Sugarloaf Mall (formerly Discovery Mills) to downtown. Free parking, $5.00, ride the bus, leave the driving to us.

If financial constraint is the problem then i understand, but i regularly take Uber to Midtown from Acworth for $22-$25............Well worth it as certain places are $10, $15, or $20 just to park.

Been years. Couple of friends carried me onto Marta after I had to much to drink at a concert. Don't remember much.

That's why a $10 round trip bus ride is such a deal.

But it's just not the price of the ride, it regularly takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours to go from I85/316 to "midtown". That's the serious money that's being lost. It takes the Uber driver the same time.
