Any one use header ceramic coating for a barrel?

Straight up rattle can camo paint holds up remarkable well, rail or not. Although I have zero experience with ceramic paint, I don’t know why it wouldn’t exceed performance wise plain old spray paint.

Handles high heat better than regular paint. Planing a “Build” and using a keymod rail and I like a contrast.

I used some on an old Stevens 1907 12 gauge single shot.

Hammered bronzed was the color, had a slight flake to it. Camo'd real easy.

Used it Turkey hunting for 12 years or so, tad bit of paint gone around the bottom break open.

It vanished in my last move in late 16.

I would try it on a crappy gun like a Hi Point or Kahr first to see how it holds up. If it can stand up to sliding parts, it should do great on a stationary barrel.

Too thick for moving parts. Just courious if anyone has tried and if any unforeseen problems.
