Would $400 be a fair price for it?AK is partial screw-built so it's not professionally assembled rifle.
Only the folding stock mechanism is from AMD-65 ($35).
Receiver's either a home-built or a US made off the shelf ($0-$75).
"G" stamped trunnion identifies the rifle components being from a Romanian "Romy-G" imported kit ($300-360).
I would not fire it without first being checked out and headspace tested.
And anyone know what this is?View attachment 1387534
No.. I know there are several screw built aks out there I would NEVER trust the screws to hold. Rivets have 2 heads that hold from both sides screws only hold on 1 side. If u could remove the screws and rivet it your self it would be worth it. If that' not an option for you then you are gonna spend 100 to 300 to have a ak Smith rivet it. The only place u can get away with screws is on the trigger guard, and that is questionable. I have built dozens of aks and fixed several screw builds and one build that was welded together. Rivets are the the only reliable way.Would $400 be a fair price for it?
