Any Savage 99 lever action fans here?

I’ve got one in 375 Winchester, with a pretty clear old school Weaver scope.

Am I an idiot for expecting a man to keep his word when he gives it to me? My dad told me many years ago that a man is only as good as his word. I live by that statement.

Exactly. But y'all should've been able to come to a reasonable agreement

We did, when I sold it to him at that kind of dirt cheap price so he could get into hunting, I was crystal clear on the terms of the sale and he agreed to them. What kind of agreement would I want to have with a man who will tell you anything to achieve his goal?
