I’ve been trying to find a good classical violin instructor close to Villa Rica. Someone who does in person lessons only and has reasonable prices. I can not find a single person who seems to play this way.

For that you're probably going to need to get closer to a city or a college with an orchestra. If you haven't already, I'd check with any local recording studios and music stores.

West Ga. ? Probably have better luck searching for a fiddle instructor.
Learn that then teach yourself the classic part. Should be plenty of
'how to play classical violin' videos on you tube.
Know the difference between a violin & a fiddle?
The fiddle has a red neck on it. Hope this helps

My kids used to take in person lessons from the Fayette Fiddler's. Fayetteville area.

Arrangement was one in-person lesson per week and one group lesson (to learn to function in an ensemble...)

They teach adults also.

I can get you some direct numbers if interested, but they are on the web. A great group of people.

Check with a local music store. They usually have a list of people providing instructions. I don't know if Jackson Music in Douglasville is still in business or not but google is your friend.

West Georgia College has an excellent music dept. Contact them and get a reference,
This!

My daughter was apart of a grade school orchestra years ago and West GA had a full on symphony that was organized through West GA in Lagrange. I specifically remember a young lad who was one of the instructors playing a violin on a solo going from contemporary to classical in seconds and swapping between the two.

Call the Atlanta Symphony Orch main line. They will be able to direct you to instructors in your area. Most of the Symphony players teach on the side.
