It is so funny how the NFL is blaming everything under the sun for falling ratings except the national anthem protest. Last year it was the presidential race. Earlier this year it was hurricanes, then this and that, now it is oversaturation - too many games on TV, streaming, etc.., etc.. They are down about 20% since 2015. The networks have started to figure out that the viewership hasn't bounced back and is continuing to decline even while other sports are staying pretty constant. It is effecting their bottom line. Soon it will be effecting the bottom line of owners, players, coaches, and all involved. How did the NFL commit financial suicide? It is a new business model that's called - Piss On Your Customers.
