Anybody else getting the light show of the century?

I haven't seen lightning like this since I lived in Cincinnati in 1997. It's amazing. And close, less than a mile away from the house.

A huge single boom woke lastnite with a long rumble afterwards… sounded like very large rifle caliber.. lightning Probbly struck something

Not here. I told the wife the other day that we used to have brutal thunderstorms, winds and lightning at least 5-10 times a year now maybe once a year. Must be that global warming thingy..............

In my area, last night, we were about to go downstairs because the lightings and thunder were so intense and loud, I thought we were in the eye of a storm or tornado. The rain and wind seemed as if was about to take the siding out of the house.
