Agreed. That's why I don't get Walmarts policy. If he had his GWCL, they shouldn't have even called it in, it's more of a paperwork and file kind of thing. I think Academy does the same thing.

It maybe store policy to call it in. And with shootings at walmarts here lately i wonder if they are actually sellin them. Maybe managment has told them not to.

Walmart won’t loose money on anything. Even when they stopped selling mini 14s they sold em

Yea, I think it's one yes and the rest are no's, I wonder how long I'll be blocked for? I typically only buy clearance stuff which nearly all gone anyway.

Walmart, if memory serves cell 20% of ammo cells.... They sell that lotta guns too.

I didn't know that either, until this post. It would definitely steer me away. I think Academy has the same policy.

I haven't bought guns from Academy, but from what I've seen in the local store, it seems they don't do that.
