Anybody Else Ride Two Stroke Motorcycle's?

I used to ride a '79 Yamaha DT 250 Enduro.
It was pretty good on the street, but noisier than I'd like for a relaxing drive on country roads.
Eventually I broke all the "street legal" parts on dirt bike trails in the woods.

I had a bunch over the years, Yam RD125, Suzuki X7 250, "Harley" 175, Kawa KH400, Mach III 500,

I'd trade a bunch of things for an RZ350 or RD400.

Long live the ring dings ! I currently have a 1975 Dt175 , quite possibly the nicest 04 YZ 250 around. 07 YZ 250 08 YZ 125 built to a 144 and a 01 CR 500 as well as my son's own 50 and KX 65 super moto !
^^^^^^ Nice, especially the CR500. I keep kicking myself, back around 2010 Cycle Nation in Canton had a used 2001 CR500 that looked brand new for $2,100.00 that I was thinking about buying, but unfortunately I decided against it. They have definitely gone up in value in the past few years. I wish I could find another one like it. It probably had 10 hours on it!

Ahhh! the two stroke...loved them...the smell of castrol oil pre-mix...wonderful.
One's I've owned:
Kawasaki 350 Bighorn
Suzuki TM400 (killer) Nail the throttle, hold-on and hope you don't flip it.
Bultaco 250 Pursang ( smooth )
Maico 250 Square barrel (Handling perfection)
Maico 450 Radial Head (Handling and grunt)
Yamaha MX400 ( great power delivery.... marginal handling)
CZ 250 ( grunt all day)
and the infamous Kawasaki 500 triple(sheer street terror) (change your underwear)
Damn....I miss them all.

Came up racing on BRAAAP bikes. When I reached 25 y/o I got tired of rebuilding top ends. (Not to mention my knees won't let me jump like I used to)

Owned 4 stroke ever since.
I do miss the smell, but at Highland Park you can still get the sound and sensation when a CR250 screams by you.

For now, I just stick to the woods.
