Anybody hunting in the rain in Crawford county?

I'm thinking the rut came early this year. I had a lot of action last weekend including watching two different bucks tend a doe, and I got a 10 pointer last Friday who had recently shown up and was cruising nose to the ground. I haven't been out in a few days or checked cameras though. I knew this particular doe was going to come into estrus early because she dumped her button long a couple of weeks before the other does so I'm hoping she just kicked off early.

I sat on a clear cut in Taylor County. Wind was blowing the light rain sideways. It was miserable, even in a blind.

I just ate a hamburger. I shot it with a BB gun just to be safe. Make have cracked a tooth.

There is no thrill in the hunt anymore. I had rather order a pizza.
