Anybody work on coke machines

I have some sort of short on my Coke Machine. It keeps kicking the breaker. Anyone work on them around canton

Those old Vendo V63 machines are very simple in design. The only thing that can trip the breaker is the refrigeration deck, the lights, or the power cord is mashed up. If it happens as soon as you turn it on, its going to be a broken wire or power cord. If it runs a bit before tripping the breaker it's something with the refrigeration deck.

The deck on those actually unplugs and slides out the front as a complete unit.....you can get a local refrigeration guy to fix it, or they sell replacements on ebay.

So you suggest replacing the cord to start with?

Do you have a multi-meter? Very easy to (unplug from wall first) check power cord.

Owning one and knowing how to use one are two differnt things. Yes I have one just haven’t done any electrical type work in nearly two decades

unhook the wire feeding the compressor and see if it clears so,locked compressor will trip it.
