I wouldn’t worry too much about having to pull the transmission at 150k miles to replace the oil pump belt.
Most Chevrolet transmissions don’t last that long anyway.

plus anyone whose ever owned a vehicle with a manual transmission, knows you have to pull the trans to replace the clutch,

although we got 250k from the original clutch in the wife’s turbo diesel Volkswagen
