I have a RMR and SRO. Was wondering about the ACRO.
The couple of dudes I know with the Acro dig the optic, but the battery life is for ****.
Aimpoint claims "1.5 years battery operation on position 6 of 10".
The problem is position 6 is virtually worthless in daylight or with a WML in darkness.
They're having to run on position 8 or 9 and their battery life is measured in weeks. Not months or years. Around 8 weeks to be exact.
Rumor is aimpoint has halted construction to revamp... but it's only a rumor.
The optic had HIGH hopes... and had thusly fallen short.
I'm in the wait and see camp.

Best optic at that price point for sure... and top 3 at any price for MRDS
I'm one of those knuckledraggers that has 0 tactical points but the footprint is just too big for my taste. Especially compared to the MRO
