Finally seen a couple, got one to hold still long enough to get the scope settled in on him. Now gonna sit tight and see if those others will return. Also got a look at the biggest chipmunk in existence, dang thing was the size of a squirrel.

Being as I am stuck at work all weekend, I'm glad to hear the stories from you guys out with your kids. Next weekend my boys and I will be joining you.

Banner morning, no, but we had fun none the less. The kid ended up putting one in his pocket, I got lucky enough to get a pair.

This is one of my favorite spots, I can sit here all morning without a problem, I know something will show in those pecans or that huge water oak. This is where the kid started this morning......

I decided this year to do something different, am perched on my roof using that as my stand instead of going into the woods. Not sure why the neighbors called the cops, who are trying to talk me down as I am posting this. Its all about priorities.....

I shot a 10 point off my Dad's cabin roof last year with the 45-70. Very mild pitch so I just kind of lay back and wait.
