Oh, not what you meant.

I remember a cover article from a gun rag (G&A maybe) around 1992 that was written by Chuck Taylor. He got a Norinco 1911 and sent it off to a high end gunsmith who proceeded to replace everything on it but the slide and frame. Everything you could do to a pistol, the gunsmith did it. With the final product reviewed, the conclusion was that Norinco was pretty nice. That old question, as you replace every part, at what point does it cease to be what you started with?
