My hunting friends started using it a couple years ago in 20 gauge, so I figured I’d try it. I’m impressed to say the least. I’m shooting a Franchi Affinity 3.5, Indian Creek .665 choke and Apex 3” #9s. I tried the 3.5” also but the pattern wasn’t much better. Pictured below was at 45 yards off of a sand bag. I think it’ll do!

Just got a box yesterday. Anxious to try em out! Apex sight says there is 904 pellets in a 3.5in #9s. Definitely looks potent on your setup!
I’m not particularly recoil sensitive, but the Apex 3.5” made me want to stop shooting them. I can’t recall anything I’ve ever shot kicking that bad! They are definitely nasty!

I’m running the Apex PT 3.5 #9’s, in the 3.5” Mag loads. It’s putting 500 pellets in a 10” circle at 40 yards. I haven’t done a count within a 20” circle yet. Looks like you had great results from your loads too!

Oh yeah, I’m happy with it. Good luck to your shoulder! Haha

With 30” barrels on my setup, I’d imagine I’m getting a good powder burn and a bit more hop on the loads, but to be honest, the recoil isn’t all that brutal, even with the 2.5 ounce loads.
Shads Shads and I were discussing that last night as well.
The other day, I put 6 or 7 of the Longbeard XR 3.5” loads and 2 more Federal TSS loads through that gun and it wasn’t that bad. I honestly see no need for you to change a thing in your setup. It will kill.
