Anyone ever raccoon hunted????

I was out camping last summer. The racoons came into the camp ground and trashed the place by morning. They get free food out of the trash cans. I never heard or seen anything like it.

Went a few times long ago.
In our case it was mostly an opportunity for a few guys to get out of the house, drink liquor, and listen to the music of the dogs on a trail.

Use to hunt them all the time. Had many dogs over the years. Lot of walking and now trespassing get you in trouble.

Got the biggest one I've ever seen eating my pecans. Then the fat ones just hanging around.

As a youth in big Texas, good times. Jack Rabbits, Fox, Coon and Ringtail. Never used dogs though, spot light and know how.
