I thought it was a fad thing as well, until I really looked into it, to help my wife. I am now healthier, happier, and don't miss the gluten laden food that I used to eat. Beer I do miss, but it is not an option any more. I will trade a gluten laden diet for being 64, and my blood pressure staying at 120/80 consistently, taking absolutely no prescriptions.
