Anyone have 1-2extra sets of solar eclipse glasses

Eyewear company in Atlanta 2 locations, named Warby Parker will give free up to two pair to anyone that comes in store and asks for them...
This late in the game, you may want to call and make sure they still have them.
Read it in an article about the eclipse.

Use a #14 welding lense.DO NOT USE CUTTING GOGGLES or auto darkening hoods.

Or a pin hole box works too.

I got a cheapo pair of cutting goggles from ebay for $10. They came with a glass set of #10 and a set of #5. Put them both in and I've got a set of #15. Plus I can use them later for welding/cutting.

I would imagine that most hardware stores would have a similar set of cutting/welding goggles in stock. NO WAY that I'd trust my eyesight to those paper/plastic glasses that are selling for the eclipse.

Yea I did the same, welding hood is a 10, cutting goggles are 5. Put them together and you won't go blind. I'm cheap, and I couldn't find any glasses.

Total exposed B&W negatives, not the late non silver based negatives. You have to have the silver in the negatives to provide the protection.

Used negs in the 60s during that eclipse, didn't go blind, and was even checked for any retinal damage when in the mil, no problems.

YMMV
