Got offered this as a trade...no information to speak of about it, and super grainy pictures to go with it...

Claimed as a 16ga Damascus double barrel (at least I can confirm the double barrel part).

Can anyone shed a little light?

Neither, technically. I'd simply flip it for cash.

Haven't had much luck trying to research it. His argument is that it could be worth thousands. Technically, there's a chance, but I think it's a greater chance of not being worth very much.

At this point, it's more a matter of historical curiosity, than investment interest. :thumb:
 
Check our gunvaluesboard.com. There’s one or two guys on there who live and breath old shotguns. They answered questions I had about a few old guns in my family.
