Anyone know what kind of plant this is?

This is the blossom o it and it has melon like fruit growing on it but the never get bigger than
a lemon.

Can you show the fruit?....I'm thinking this is what we call a MAY POP....the melon when squeezed bust open..it makes a POP sound...you can eat the nectar that's around the seeds..really tasty and sweet

When I lived in Central PA a local garden shop was selling "Passion Fruit" houseplants for 24 bucks a piece... I thought about the dozens of them that grew near the train tracks where we grew up.
