Anyone on here build engines? Build transmissions?

I've been hanging sh#t together for years buddy. Junkyard 350 with some Craigslist heads and a swap meet cam. Add an intake and a carb alil bigger than needed n jet it down and you got a runner!! Run a loose converter and a good gear with a posi. Peeps will be thinking you got more than you do. Nice ride btw!

Needs some torque thrust wheels and some air shocks in the back

Stick the right cam in the 307 and it will sound just like that

With the crate engine I’d get one with a roller cam

Every old sbc I’ve ever seen had a flat lobe on the cam from oiling issues

Gonna go back with a TH700R ?
Or a three speed auto ?

Or a five speed ?

go crazy and drive the purists nuts by dropping in a toyota 5.7L 3UR and top it with a magnuson supercharger. 505hp, 550ftlb. sounds good and has guts.

Hard to find a good engine builder

And a lot more expensive than just buying a crate

If you were wanting to keep your numbers matching engine I’d say find a builder but otherwise I’d just get a crate
